Welcome to the Dispensary of Hope's 10x Campaign!

Thank you for being one of the many Americans that have joined the Dispensary of Hope in its mission to provide access to affordable medicines to the underinsured population that exists in every community in our nation.

When we began this journey, no one believed surplus sample medications could be a meaningful source of medication for the uninsured. Now, only two years later, we're proud to report that we have over 1,300 physicians actively participating in the cause through sample medication donations. Their efforts results in generating millions of free medications that are dispensed through free clinics each month.

We learned that the idea worked. But, could it grow? Could the program expand nationwide? We believe the answer is yes.

Today, the Dispensary of Hope consists of 49 dispensing sites in 11 states. That number of sites is growing now by 4 to 6 sites per month. There is a waiting list of over 100 sites ready to launch - a list that grows daily. Clearly, there is not a lack of need. There is simply a lack of resources.

That's where you can make a difference.

When we created the model for the Dispensary of Hope, we wanted to demonstrate a strong return on investment for the program's donors - "its investors." What we found is that every dollar contributed generates $10 of free medication. For $1000...$10,000 of free medication. At $10,000...$100,000 of free medication. Medications that are going directly to those in need.

We knew that if you and others like you who are concerned about helping the uninsured knew the story of the Dispensary of Hope - and knew that a donation in any amount was worth 10x in direct impact - that we could close the gap on resources and get those next 100 sites open.

In three simple steps, here's how it works:

Step 1:
Donate $10 and tell three friends about the Dispensary and ask them to do the same (just click "Share this Fundraiser" button under get involved)

Step 2:
We'll use your $10 to provide $100 worth of free medicine to individuals who are most in need.

Step 3:
Together we'll reach 5,000 friends - and friends of friends - to raise $50,000 and provide more than $500,000 worth of free medicine in 2010.

That's estimated to be more than 100,000 prescriptions...and more than 1,000 lives saved. It's very simple. It will only take a few minutes of your time and a few dollars - but it will make a life changing difference to another person.
